Careers advice help please? ?

I'm 14 at the moment, i know careers seem a long way off but we're doing work experience at the moment at school so everyones thinking about what they want to do later in life.





So i'm in a private school (just girls) at the moment in the UK. I'm going to be staying in this school until im 18/19 and i've done all my GCSE's and A-Levels.





Then iwhen i leave high school i plan to move to America and enroll in a fashion college/university like FiDM or some fashion college. Then i plan to stay in that college for a few years to earn my qualifications ect. Then aftter i have that college credit and qualifications i want to join a magazine like cosmo girl or teenvogue for a few years for experience and work. Then after that time i'd hopefully be able to launch a small clothing line/shop and work on it.





What do you think? Am i missing something? I know there must be gaps but i really hope to do that. Moving from the UK to America wouldnt be a problem because i have family there and my family want to move elsewhere in the future anyway. Do colleges in America accept people who have just finished High School in the UK?

Yes. You will need to do another stop on your journey to Cosmo Magazine. You will have to work for a small local newspaper to get started. So Cosmo has something to judge you by. Start writing and submitting articles to newspapers today. They will accept submissions from a 14 year old. Write about your world..
